Boiler Installation

At DLR plumbing we do jobs ranging from fixing leaks to installing & replacing gas boilers. Sometimes the job can be harder than others, a good example of this was a boiler we installed in Dalkey recently.

Some houses are easier to work with than others, in this case we had to battle with 2ft thick granite walls which meant that we had to bring in some masonry cutting equipment in order to install an exhaust pipe for the boiler.

Sometimes its tough going getting through walls, but we have the equipment, and can patch it up afterward!

The guys came in with some pretty heavy equipment to get the job done, but they were very good in preparing the room so there wasn’t dust everywhere!

Working in a 1 bed apartment it was decided that the best course of action was to put the boiler where there was ample room (the bedroom), but to separately locate the controls in the living room where it would be accessed most (the living room)

There was no cutting of corners with DLR plumbing, rather than going for the easy option they went for the best option, for example they found the best way to route pipes so as to have minimal impact on the apartment rather than just putting them any old place.
